About Rosa · Science × Soul

I help you become someone your body can trust.

Eleven years in medicinal chemistry taught me how a body works. Nine years of somatic and consciousness work taught me why that knowledge, on its own, has never healed anybody — including me.

The question I’d recommend to nobody at 3am.

Some years ago I asked myself: if I died tomorrow, who would actually know me?

I pictured my mother and my sister coming to collect my things. Opening my journals. And working out, page by page, that they had no idea who the person writing them was.

I was finishing my doctorate. I had a career people wanted, papers I was proud of, and lived in Barcelona. I had a great many people who relied on me and would have described me, warmly, as the strong one. And I had built the entire arrangement so well that not one of them could have told you a true thing about me.

I had become everyone’s safe place except mine.

So I did what a good scientist does best. I researched, and then I experimented — on the most important subject of my life, which happened to be me. It took considerably longer than the average PhD and the methodology was appalling.

Everything on this page came out of that.

You already know what's wrong. Your body hasn't agreed yet.

Before This Work

Intellectually aware of patterns
Stuck in the same relational loops
Anxiety that survives every insight
Disconnected from your own body's signals
Dissociation dressed as discipline
Using achievement to outrun feeling

After This Work

Nervous system that matches your intentions
Patterns that shift, not just get noticed
Capacity for intimacy without losing yourself
Body as ally, not obstacle
Performance from regulation, not fear
Feeling safe being seen

From the lab bench to the laboratory of consciousness.

I've spent more than a decade studying molecular mechanisms — how compounds bind to receptors, how cascade reactions reshape cellular fate, how the smallest structural shifts or environmental changes alter everything. It was precise, beautiful work. And it taught me something humbling: the nervous system is the master regulator of all of it. Not just single molecules, the isolated chemical reactions, but the whole is what matters. The same applies in health, resilience, capacity for intimacy, and presence itself.

When I discovered the gap, that was my golden moment. I knew exactly why I was stuck in certain patterns. I could explain the neurobiology with precision. The chemical pathways and mechanisms. And yet, I remained completely, frustratingly stuck. Knowledge doesn't change the nervous system. Experience does. The body keeps records in ways the mind can't access with logic alone. And it holds onto those records until something shifts at a deeper level.

That turned me to the unconscious, toward somatic work, breathwork, toward the careful study of altered states and consciousness itself. I trained rigorously — not abandoning science but expanding it. Trauma research. Neuropharmacology. Interoception. The actual mechanics of how a body learns to feel safe. And somewhere in there, science and soul stopped arguing and started finishing each other’s sentences.

So now I work in the place science hasn’t finished mapping — where the nervous system, the psyche and the whole business of making meaning are not separate departments filing separate reports. I won’t tell you that combination is rare. I’ll just tell you I spent eleven years in a laboratory learning to be deeply suspicious of anyone who claims more than their data supports, and that I have tried very hard to stay that person.

"I didn't leave science. I took it somewhere it had never been allowed to go."

Two things I found out late

The first: I can read people. Microexpressions, the change in someone’s breathing a second before they say the thing, what a room is about to do. For years I thought that was empathy.

It wasn’t — or not only. I built fortresses to hide inside, and being able to read everyone that accurately is what surveillance from behind a wall looks like. It made me an excellent practitioner and a fairly unreachable person. Undoing the second half is most of what I have done since.

The second arrived last year, at an age where you are supposed to have finished finding things out: I am almost certainly neurodivergent.

Four decades rearranged themselves in about a week. Every room I had found inexplicably exhausting. Every time I missed the social thing that everyone else caught without effort. The gossip whose purpose I had genuinely never understood. And the strangest one — that I could read another person’s face like a printout and still have no idea what I myself was feeling.

I had spent my whole life trying to fit, and it turned out I’d been solving the wrong problem with enormous skill.

I put that here because some of you are doing it right now. And because a practitioner who spent thirty years over-adapting will clock over-adaptation in you a great deal faster than one who never had to.

The principles I build everything on.

01
The body is not the enemy of the mind.
It's the record of everything the mind has not yet processed.
02
Insight without integration is just more content.
More data for the nervous system to manage rather than transform.
03
You can't think your way into feeling safe.
Safety is a physiological state, not a decision or an insight.
04
The goal is not healing as a destination.
It's a nervous system that can meet life without bracing for impact.
05
Psychedelics don't do the work.
They open the window to the unconscious. What matters is what you do with the light.
06
The most radical act in a dysregulated world?
Being a regulated, embodied, present human being.

Science × Somatics × Soul

🧬
Science
Neuroscience & Evidence
Grounded in how the body and brain actually work. State-of-the-art research on trauma, physiology, psychopharmacology, and the neurobiology of safety and relationships. Evidence-informed practice, not pop psychology or spiritual bypassing.
Somatics
Body as Primary
The body is the site of transformation. Nervous system regulation, interoception, breath, movement, sensation. This is where change actually lands and consolidates.
Soul
The Existential Dimension
Meaning, identity, purpose, the sacred. Where altered states, depth psychology, and consciousness become tools for genuine transformation, not escape.

The things I won't compromise.

Rigor without rigidity
Science informs everything. But the body doesn't fit in a one-size-fits-all framework.
Presence over protocol
Every session is led by what's actually happening, not a template.
Ethics before expansion
No experience is worth your safety or your trust.
Integration over intensity
The ceremony is 1%. What you do in the next 90 days is the work.
Embodiment over performance
I'm not here to help you appear well. I'm here to help you be well.
Clean containers
Clear agreements, transparent pricing, no manipulation.

Trained in the body. Grounded in the evidence.

"I came in thinking I needed help with anxiety. What I found was that I had never actually inhabited my body. Rosa doesn't just give you tools — she teaches your nervous system a new language. If this is what shifted in one session, I can only imagine what working together longer would do."
— Nicole L., Nurse

This work is precise. It's not for everyone — and that's intentional.

This IS for you if...

You've done therapy, read the books, attended the retreats — and something is still missing
You're intellectually sharp and need a practitioner who can match you and point to the blind spots
You're exploring psychedelics or have had experiences you haven't fully processed
You want real change, not better coping strategies
You're ready to work with your body, to feel — not just your mind

This is NOT for you if...

You're looking for someone to vent to and not take responsibility
You want a quick fix or a single session to solve everything
You're not willing to do integration work between sessions
You're in acute psychiatric crisis (I'll refer you to the right support)
You want spiritual experience without scientific grounding, or vice versa
